October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and it is Aveda’s second biggest fund-raising season after Earth Day. We are having many activities and events at the salon. 

With every donation of at least $5, you will receive a gift bag including a $10 color coupon. We are offering nail polish changes (fingers or toes!) for $5 and ten-minute mini-facials for $10. You can add one of these services to your appointment, or you can drop in for just a polish change or facial. We are also having a huge bake sale on Saturday, October 18th. 100 percent of the money raised will benefit Stewart’s Caring Place, a cancer wellness and resource center in Akron.

Also, a special edition of our ever-popular Hand Relief lotion is available. Aveda will donate $4 of every sale of this lotion to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
